Glenn Beck may not be welcome in Driggs!

This was printed in our weekly paper. Wow, some strong opinions! (And sorry if this causes controversy on the family blog!)

Yea nice observations if you are an anti-Mormon bigot with an agenda!!! Out of all of Glenn Beck's influences nice of the writer to pick two "faithful" (one of them was even a prophet let us not forget) Latter Day Saints as evidence of (& for) Glenn Beck's evil, racist views. This article only proves how easy it is for someone to call good evil and evil good & get away with it in today’s world. I met the Prophet on my mission twice, and both times received an undeniable testimony of his calling as a prophet of God. I listened to him speak to the nation at Valley Forge as part of the 200 year celebration of the Constitution and a greater patriot with a true love for this country I will never meet. He spoke of the need to be ever vigilant of our freedoms for Satan desires very much to take it from us. He spoke of the Lords hand in creating this great nation & the inspired men who created for the first time a nation of truly free men. Since that talk I have seen many of those freedoms given to us by our founders lost, and each day it seems we willingly give away another . Soon we will be a nation no longer free but rather in bondage to Satan’s alternative to freedom – socialism. If Glenn Beck is a racist liar then I must be too. I do not listen to him much or agree with him all the time but an individual speaking the truth to a crowd of sinners is never popular or loved. And Glenn Beck, I believe, speaks the truth just a bit too much for many people’s comfort if you ask me. The response to Glenn Beck reminds me a bit of the response Abinadi got in the Book of Mormon.
